Wednesday, December 26, 2012 - Annual Holiday CDP Tasting (Edina, MN): Very dark red coor. Bottle was open with no decant for an hour. drank 1+ glass over 3 hours. Lovely open nose with earth, funk, saddle leather, garrigue, smoke, floral, sandalwood, cherry, rapsberry. The palate shows nice depth, medium-full body, funky, herb de provence, garrigue, berry, lots of spices and pepper (but not overly), earthy, smoky. Nice long finish. Excellent. 93+pts. My and group WOTN.
