Wednesday, December 14, 2016 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #114; Bordeaux: St. Emilion Grand Cru Classé (By me): Beautiful and somewhat developed bouquet with creamy berries, some smoke and vanilla. On the palate creamy red and dark berries, sweet spices, good oak and acidity. Some green bell pepper as well. A bit drying. Nice wine to drink between now and 2020+?. 88 – 89?

10/31/2017 12:05:00 PM - the red berries were the most prominent fruit, 'the drying' I also had with my previous tasting of this wine was gone, I completely agree on the score : 88-89, I don't see any upscoring potential
