Monday, September 9, 2019 - The wine was dark garnet in colour and threw some sediment. It had a rather, closed and slightly reduced nose of dark fruit, olive tapenade, spice, black pepper and gamy notes. On the palate, the wine offered ripe dark fruit, black olive, some chocolate, Cappuccino, spices, crushed black pepper and intense liquorice as well as herbal and gamy notes, with an underlying mineral component, good acidity, ripe, well-integrated tannin and superb length. Medium to full, dark, dense and concentrated. Well-balanced. Great value for money!
