Monday, July 4, 2011 - Though not in any way a big wine this one of the more elegant efforts from this appellation in 2007. There is a subtle but not at all shy tone of dried summer flowers. I love this tone, so rarely found in wines from the southern Rhône as they become more and more explosive. The acidity is very pleasant as is the toned down and almost silky tannins. I guess this wine drinks at its best right now but will develop nicely with an additional four to five years in the cellar. (score is 91-93)
