Saturday, July 6, 2019 - After 13 years, still needed time to open up, took about 2 hrs to fully unfurl.
Bitter Black cherries, dried raisins, some fresh prunes, still very powerfully tannic but very fine mouth coating tannins they are!
Aged dried herbs like an old bouquet garni, lovely tar as well, only missing the floral lift which we have come to expect from Nebbiolo.
Still has a long life ahead technically. I feel will still be singing in the next 5 years at least.
