I found the nose to be complex and inviting, with leather and spice and cedar. The mouth is a little overwhelmed with maraschino cherries but there's also raspberries and blueberries. It seems high on alcohol and this 2007 is still fairly tannic. I would be interested to try in 6 months - might be better balanced.
