90 Points

Saturday, December 4, 2010 - This is a big bold Napa Cab. The first bight its drying tannins dominated and made it a little rough to enjoy on its own during movie night. The second night it's much more friendly and its flavor profile reveals itself. Yes there are substantial markings that make me think this wine received heavy handed oak treatment, but all the things I look for in Napa are here. I get rich fruit, earth, vanilla and more.

Quite nice. 2nd day performance bodes well for drinking starting in 2012.
