Friday, March 18, 2011 - Popped 1 hour before first pour, consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Nice bright red fruit - cherry, with undertones of blue and black fruit candy. Very nice nose, but there is something artificial about it, just doesn't seem natural or authentic, but it is appealing. Palate: Medium bodied, cherry and spice carries through to a medium length finish. My second encounter with this wine and I must say, I enjoyed this encounter more than the first - a very nice mass produced Cally cabernet.
