Saturday, April 16, 2011 - Dundee Hills Passport Tour (Dundee Hills, Oregon): The nose here is quite enjoyable delivering dark cherries balanced with nice nutmeg scents and a bit of strawberry. The cherries touch down gently and enjoyably before they fade gently to the sides of the mouth. A touch of minerality and some dark tobacco show on the mid palate, and the plums and dark cherry skins show up on the finish. This has a lot going on already, and like many 08's, I see some good aging potential here.
