Thursday, October 27, 2011 - My friend John N. pulled a cork on this when I dropped by today and the wine was awesome. Very dark and dense with a brooding, deep nose of black fruits, licorice, violets, tar. Long and intense, yet sweet, with astronishing structure. A really impressive Amarone!
