There was a nice, typical Bartolo perfume - classic Bartolo but after an hour or so I felt it started to shut down on the nose and go to a strange place. The wine was good but the constant thought of lost potential kept entering my mind. Not ready to drink and I have no way of rating what I think this might be. I honestly believe this will be a great wine, and for the record Bartolo is my favorite Piedmonte producer, but today I would advise holding these for another 20 years.
