Wednesday, December 27, 2017 - (Sampled via Coravin - 30 min airing in the glass) Medium ruby color with good clarity. Mild aromas of dark fruit and cedar. Flavors of Black Cherry, blackberry, blueberry, and bakers chocolate, with espresso and black licorice on the medium long finish. Still has plenty of tannin, but well integrated and supportive of the flavor profile. Drinkable now, but better days are ahead. My next taste won't be for another year for sure, this still has 5 - 10 years left, not sure when it might peak, but 5 more years is a guess.
