Saturday, January 14, 2006 - Drank 1/12/2002. Decanted for 45 minutes. Color is dark purple even at the rim. Aromas of sweet dark fruit, currant, some chocolate and vanilla. Some heat on the nose. Medium body. Good mouthfeel, nice soft tannins. Good finish, nice acidity balancing the fruit. . 15% alcohol is quite heady.
