Tuesday, February 23, 2010 - Light ruby color. Nose: sweet strawberry, ripe raspberry, sandalwood, and a little baked cinnamon apple going on. Palate: raspberry/strawberry, red apple, anise, and cinnamon. Bright acidity. Moderate/firm dry tannins. Moderate/long finish with some red apple/plum skin and green stick. Good, solid Beaujolais with some future upside. Excellent food wine.
