The fruit is now less dominant and the oak prevails. Not even like a toasty vanilla sort of a deal, but more like sucking on an oak stick. Not really tannic but I question whether they used French oak cooperage. I'm thinking perhaps slovinian cooperage as it appears way more course. Not very happy where this wine is going.
