Decanted for 2 andc1/2 hours. Had with charcuterie. This was a much better bottle than what ive had in the past. Big and bold. Not AS oaky. This wine obviously requires a lengthy decant.

This has evolved into a complete oak bomb from my last bottle. The cork stamp was black and shinny like ink with copious amounts of sediment. The fruit is now less dominant and the oak prevails. Not even like a toasty vanilla sort of a deal, but more like sucking on an oak stick. Not really tannic but I question whether they used French oak cooperage. I'm thinking perhaps slovinian cooperage as it appears way more course. Not very happy where this wine is going.

See previous notes. The finish remains short and evaporative.

Decanted for an hour. Had with veal marsala. A decent every day table wine at this point.
