Friday, August 5, 2011 - Sonoma Pinot Noir: Excellent wine. Ruby in color, clear and shimmering bright. The nose has cherries and powdered cherry drink mix. Thick and voluptuous. Cherries, rhubarb with a slight menthol note on the finish. The nose was slightly tight, but the palate by far the best. Another year or two and this should be ready. Delicious now.
