Wednesday, August 13, 2014 - Shutting down. Clean nose. Touch garnet in color. After waiting about 30 minutes the nose is still fairly rustic and shut down. After 2 hours and a decant it opens up, but not much. A more distinc berry flavour than before, some dark cherries and some wood and undergrowth. Super tight on the palate, touch unripe tannins that cuts the finish short of fruit. Needs time, I think it's shutting down.
