Friday, December 19, 2014 - Dark red ruby color. Nose full of redcurrant, cherries and a hint of an animal note. Palate has the well known acidic backbone of the vintage. A lot of it too. But the wine is strong and carries the acidity well. Lots of power and depth and a crispy clear refreshing mouthfeel. Good, but the acidity is almost overwhelming for me. Tannins too.
