Sunday, August 9, 2015 - Deep ruby tending to garnet in color. Nose opens with herbal mossy aromas but evolves to something more floral after an hour. Bright red raspberry and a hint of cherry on the palate. Medium finish. We picked this up when we visited Mt. Veeder in 2009. This is really hitting its stride right now. Yates is a medium sized property but they are largely Farmer's with much of their fruit being sold to others. They do make a few cases under their own label. This was very nice.
