Wednesday, April 29, 2009 - Leoville Las Cases at My House: The nose offers a stern and reserved blend of dark fruit, oak and vanilla with not much in the way of secondary aromas emerging. On the palate this shows good fruit concentration, but sweet oak flavors still dominate the flavors. This is the second time I've had this and I'm a little wary of whether this will deliver into anything noteworthy. Only time will tell.
