Saturday, April 14, 2018 - 1st of 12 (+6 mags), decanted an hour, perfect cork and level - darkish ruby, purple rim, young; primary cassis, hint of graphite and cedar, very slightly green, classy if not as yet particularly complex; medium, long, decent balance, not particularly assertive, persistent or concentrated, LLC class though, backward and needs time. Should be at least F+ (18)........opened on strength of reviews below and wish I'd followed my instincts and held on for a couple of years as LLC usually is behind others in starting to show well. simply baffled by anyone who thinks a wine so young is past its prime, even allowing for storage variation. If true, it can only be a duff bottle!
