Saturday, March 20, 2021 - Las Cases vs Beringer Reserve
2001 Leoville Las Cases 91. Dusty gravel clay and forest floor on the nose, mid palette dry dark fruit, medium-weight, dry but smooth finish. 91. I wouldn't say this was corked but it seemed a little off.
2001 Beringer Reserve 94. Tertiary notes of black berry fruit, dried flowers, aromatic bouquet. The palate is well refined great finish, holding up well.
