This is fantastic now, but clearly there is plenty of gas in the tank. On the nose: wild strawberry, cocoa powder, pencil.shavings, soft cherry liqueur, forest floor, and a hint of red earth. On the palate: excellent acidity, good density, if a touch lighter than I expect from LLC, but so energetic, with plum, black fruit, dried savory herbs, and finely grained tannin on the close. Lovely.
