Friday, July 8, 2011 - Mid deep red colour. Nose mainly of game, hints of wet forest, cherries and currants. The palate mirrors this, good concentration, nice tannins and a great balance at the current state. Finish is long for this level of Burgundy - great value for money! Could almost mistake this for a light barbera if it had not been for the elegance and the lack of "sour cherries".

Can't help wondering if this would benefit still form some time in the bottle. No worries about taking them now, but gut feeling tells me that there is some more in there...

Very enjoyable Burgundy from this grower - again.
