Saturday, January 21, 2012 - Mostly consistent with previous note. The cherries had transformed more into a pure cherry scents, with some game and and hints of oak. The fruit appears more pure now. The acidity is still solid building a great framework and contributing to a solid length on the finish, however the fruit was perhaps lacking a bit now. Still it is a great match with food!

Still in doubt what this will gain with further age, and how the acid/fruit ratio will develop. I am curious, however the current state is hard to resist for this level of Burgundy.
