Saturday, October 22, 2016 - Deep ruby. Spicy, open knit aromas of red & black berries, anise, sandalwood, and a hint of sous bois. Medium-light body, framed by nice acidity, with flavors of red fruit and spice. The 2008 Echézeaux is in a very nice spot now but should continue to develop positively for a few more years and then drink well for several more.
