Friday, January 1, 2010 - Just the right time to drink this wine. We were looking for something to drink with cornish hen and sausage/prune/walnut stuffing. The Turley was powerful, with a nose of pepper and strong blackcurrant notes. We drank it right after uncorking, and it was great immediately and didn't change much through the meal. The wine was not at all astringent, and had great structure. We've cellared this wine for about two years and decided to bring it up for this meal. Good choice. Drink up.
