Monday, July 22, 2019 - Wow, this was magnificent. Double decanted a few hours before dinner and it immediately had a lovely floral raspberry perfume. With dinner the fruit just kept getting sweeter and more intense, eventually settling into a currant and strawberry profile. Soaring aromatics of anise, roses, mint, just glorious. Palate had enough tannin to frame everything and delicious acidity that added detail and energy. This just seemed to gain over the course of dinner.
