Friday, February 25, 2011 - Pop & Pour. Color is dark garnet. Dried berries, plums on the nose. Palate is subtle dark fruit with a very strong herbal/garrigue component, medium to light body. Finish is clipped and moderately tannic. Drinks like a low-end CdR. The herbal character became so overwhelming with time, I was unable to finish the bottle. Doubt this will come together to justify the price of the Codoulet.
