Saturday, July 2, 2011 - Remains a consistent performer in a weak vintage. Savory, herbal nose with dark fruits. Palate with lovely spiciness, light acidic palate with ripe, if restrained fruit. Lengthy herbal spicy finish. Just a lovely wine. Missing the concentration and power of riper vintages, and while this won't last as long as other years, is still a great performer. If you like the spicy savory side of CdP, drink up.
