Saturday, August 13, 2011 - Still a winner in my book. Lovely nose with earth, spice, thyme, and briary red fruit. Palate with medium concentration, delicious leafy herbal quality with fine chewy tannins. Medium earth and spice finish. Great wine in a tough year. Medium weight but great spice and complexity. Not sure there's any upside, but really nice wine to stockpile while waiting on those that need age. Parker missed on this one.
