Wednesday, July 31, 2013 - Typically I never spend more than $16 on a Cotes du Rhone, but we all know this comes from a great producer. The wine was really nice. Dark fruit and herbs and no rough edges. Very smooth, and will probably taste great for another 3 to 5 years? Considering the vintage wasn't great, I believe this wine outperforms.

8/2/2013 5:07:00 AM - Agree completely, the '08 is a much better wine than the critics initially gave it credit. And for me, the Coudoulet is pretty much always worth the few extra dollars for a Cotes du Rhone.
