Saturday, February 12, 2022 - Deep, but not opaque ruby in the glass. The palate mirrors the nose exactly reflecting the black cherry, cinnamon bark, cola and a finish of just-enough-but-not-too-much vanilla. The tannins are fully resolved and playing nicely with the abundant fruit and acid. A balanced wine of weight but not at all heavy. The finish is a touch short. Nevertheless, it’s a pleasing example of why we drink Central Coast Pinot. 14.3% alc. With grilled tuna steaks under an olive tapenade. 02.12.22. Recommended.
