Thursday, August 11, 2011 - Dinner - bring a great bottle (Custom House Tavern - Chicago IL): Great aromatics with lots of rose petal, raspberry and strawberry. Gorgeous spice comes through prominently on both the nose and palate. Tannins are perfectly integrated balanced, acidity stands out and provides great texture and length. Really an elegant and sexy wine that somehow seemed to personify what we would expect from top notch Amoureuses.
