Wednesday, May 18, 2016 - Extraordinary dense colour for the age, deep purple with barely a hint of change at the rim. Great legs. Almost a claret nose, gentle not fierce. Lovely classy palate with red and black fruits, cedar, a touch of good oak (?) and still plenty of tannin. The wine has good length too. This is like a really good aged Claret, I love it.
Second bottle on 20/8/2018. Still showing well. Wondered if there was a hint of Brett on this one?
