Sunday, December 26, 2010 - Pop and pour. Cork broke on the way out, and while it showed moisture nearly halfway up there was no seepage. Beautiful bordeaux-like aromatics, garnet coloring with slight bricking, heavy sediment on the cork and in the neck. Wine is enjoyable for those who like softer offerings, but tanins are largely gone and the wine is clearly past its prime. Drink up!
