Tuesday, September 2, 2014 - Impromptu gathering - Cos, Velvet Glove, SQN, Alban, Larkmead and etc. (Charlie Palmer - Washington DC): Intense black fruits, dark spices, nutmeg, allspices, caramel, tar and charred steak. Excellent concentration, intense jammy black and red fruit driven palate impression, sweet dark spices, nicely integrated tannins and long finish. This is still very youthful. A bit simple compare to the SQN in the crosshairs. Very Alban with dark sweet spices.
