Sunday, April 8, 2007 - Our first taste of this wine was squirted from a turkey baster out of the barrel and into our glasses during a visit to Argyle in November of 2005. It showed tremendous potential and we were told it wouldn't be released until April of 2007 so we had to be patient. Patience paid off as this is an absolutely fantastic wine. Black cherries and dark fruits with a touch of earth on the nose and the mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium bodied and wonderfully creamy. The flavors start of subtle at first and then the fruit and a bit of minerals come in midpalate with a touch of the new oak on the silky smooth finish.
