91 Points

Sunday, April 20, 2008 - I agree with much of what's been said about this one. It's refreshingly light-bodied and zingy, but there's a modicum of grace here, too. I find a bit of the usual toffee, raspberry, rose water, and spice. The spice, in particular, is pronounced on the nice long finish. It's not spectacular for the price, but it's clearly a well-made wine. As with most other Argyles, it's reliable; you know what you're getting. Even in the absence of profundity, I can respect that.
