A light, pale yellow color, with hints of grass and maybe a little apple on the nose. I thought the flavor was light, almost airy, though also a little buttery, with some apple/pear flavors. I guess there's a little oak in the midpalate (is that the right word?), but nothing overpowering by any stretch. A little bit of warmth and tannin sensation at the end, an enjoyable finish. Overall much lighter than I had thought it was going to be. Cellartracker said to drink this by 2011 but I think it can still go a little longer.
