Sunday, February 10, 2013 - This is a powerhouse of a wine. We decanted this for a few hours and still didn't even drink till the second night. Huge ripe fruit on the nose and front palette. The finish was full of spice and cured meats. The tannins on this wine can be a bit overwhelming so give it a lengthy decant or hold. I'm used to CdP being a little more subtle. This seems a bit ripe and modern. Look forward to watching this develop over the years.
