Wednesday, October 9, 2019 - Roncieres is very steep vineyard with gravels. According to Jasper Morris, this always shows some ripe, almost cooked fruit with a Mediterranean touch (garrigue).
This was a perfect example of this description! Started quite stewy. Put it in a decanter and while it got way better, it kept that extravagant southern profile. While this is not my favorite vineyard in the Chevillon lineup, this is definitely interesting and showing this particular terroir.
