Wednesday, July 10, 2019 - This wine shows surprising richness and balance for its year with a dense dark cherry colour and a nose of dark fruits, game and spice with touches of earth. The palate has some modern glossiness but equally has plenty of depth and a nice touch of finesse on the finish. The fruit is particularly rich with lots of interest and completely balances the earthy gaminess of the vineyard. A delicious wine tonight but with plenty of room for development.
