Thursday, April 19, 2012 - Ruby hue. Nose is bright and fresh with juicy cherry and musty earth. At first this comes across as simply bright and fruity and somewhat simple, but as it opens it really shows a nice mushroomy earthiness as well. The acidity is beautiful and gives the wine something close to the lift you'll get in a good German Riesling. This is a beautiful wine with nice complexity under $30
