Sunday, January 6, 2013 - This bottle was a gift from friends who traveled to Italy. The wine is certainly in good form tonight. Pop and pour but I would recommend a short decant. The color is a bright ruby. The flavors are sour cherry, current with nicely balanced acidity and tannins. I am sure this will go beautifully with moose spaghetti latter this evening. this wine exceeded my expectoration and probably makes a good case for a little patience when drinking Chiantis.
