Sunday, March 15, 2015 - Classic Anderson Valley nose -- black cherry, blueberry and menthol, with notes of citrus, bittersweet chocolate and, yes, a whiff of smoke. Quite nice. On the palate, a real dark/light contrast, with intermingling waves of black cherry and cranberry/citrus. Very spicy across the mid-palate, and a long finish. Better with 90+ minutes of air. Lovely.
