Tuesday, November 9, 2010 - The fill was into the neck and the cork was sound; followed this over the course of 6 hours. Purple-ruby in color with no amber at the rim. The nose was pretty straightforward, without much complexity, with notes of ripe black fruit and hints of asphalt, and leather. Medium-bodied, with pure fruit flavors, a bit high-toned, with some tannin still to shed, but lacking in terms of texture and excitement. A sound wine, but in all honesty I was disappointed.
