Friday, December 4, 2020 - The fill was into the neck and the cork was pristine. Slow ox for an hour before dinner; in hindsight I should have double decanted. Deep garnet with no bricking. Notes of dried plums, black truffle, crushed stones; hints of crisp red fruits and bramble. Medium bodied, a bit more high toned than previous bottles, with the acidity bringing impressive grip and focus. Good depth, ripe tannins, and a long finish.
