90 Points

Thursday, October 20, 2011 - 20 pabv. Wine was fermented in wood for two years and then bottled; wine was then held in bottle for about 3 years.

Deep dusty purple.

Dried fig, cherry, chocolate overlain with an enticing anise pungency. When the first sip hits the mid-palate, its enormous juicy power becomes apparent in its juicy, semi-dry Dow style.,

A clean, minty finish is complemented by dusty, complete tannins. 90-91/100; drink now-2023
